Managing a field service business isn’t easy. You’ve got to do accounting, manage inventory and orders, issue quotes and invoices and produce several kinds of reports, just like a standard small business. But, depending on your industry and customers, you might also have to manage service level agreements (SLAs), efficiently schedule service calls and/or dispatch staff, and tell your staff the quickest, easiest and safest routes to their destinations. And you and your staff need to be able to do all that from the office and in the field.
That’s a lot for any business to handle, let alone a small one.
